India, Oct. 9 -- Mafia in White opened with a hospital in which professional titles and personal connections seem to matter as much as medical skills. But Gye Su-jeong, played by Kim Ji-won, has little patience for these rules. The first episode introduces her as a brilliant surgeon who refuses to bow to senior doctors, even when her attitude puts her job at risk. The episode ends with a major change at Guseo University Hospital, leaving Su-jeong caught between a director who wants her gone and a new leader who has his own plans for her.
