India, Sept. 30 -- Dhakshineswar Suresh will look to continue his impressive Asian Games 2026 campaign when he takes on Chinese Taipei's Tseng Chun-hsin in the men's singles third-round match in Aichi-Nagoya on Wednesday, September 30.

Suresh defeated Indonesia's Gunawan Trismuwantara 7-5, 7-6(2) in the second round match. The world no 364 received a bye in the opening round of the men's singles draw before beginning his campaign against Trismuwantara.

His serving was particularly effective. Suresh won 80 per cent of his first-serve points and 82 per cent of his second-serve points in the opening set, before improving those numbers to 85 per cent and 86 per cent respectively in the second.
