India, Sept. 27 -- Opposition mobilisation complicates government plans as Parliament's next legislative moves remain uncertain.

The recent controversy surrounding the Election Commission has significantly diminished the likelihood of a special session of Parliament being convened for the Delimitation Bill. Notably, the government has not yet prorogued the Monsoon Session. This marks the first instance where a session has remained un-prorogued for over 44 days, setting a new record in the history of Parliament.
