India, July 11 -- After days of continuous rainfall, Delhi is likely to witness a monsoon break, bringing an end to the recent wet spell. Weather experts say rainfall activity is expected to reduce over the next week, while temperatures may rise to 3-38 degrees Celsius, increasing humidity and making the weather uncomfortable once again. According to private weather agency Skymet, the low pressure system that brought heavy rainfall to Delhi has weakened after moving from northwest Madhya Pradesh to central Uttar Pradesh. The weather system is expected to move towards the Himalayan foothills and gradually weaken further. As a result, the monsoon trough has shifted northward, reducing the chances of widespread rainfall in Delhi.
