India, July 6 -- If you live in South or West Delhi, you may want to plan your day. BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) has announced a planned electricity shutdown in several parts of the Capital on Monday, July 7, to carry out essential maintenance and network upgrade work. Residents in areas such as Hauz Khas, Janakpuri, Palam, Dwarka, Nangloi, Tagore Garden, Mundka and Chhatarpur. Most outages will take place between 9 am and 1 pm.

Depending on the locality, the power interruption will last between one and a half and three hours. The utility company said the temporary shutdown is necessary to improve the reliability of electricity supply and reduce future disruptions.
