India, May 18 -- Croatia has announced a strong 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026, with Luka Modric in charge. The Real Madrid legend is set to play his fifth World Cup, having competed in the 2006, 2014, 2018, and 2022 editions. He had a pivotal role in leading the Croatia national football team to their first-ever final in 2018. In the same year, Modric also won the coveted Ballon d'Or for his impactful performance.
