India, Aug. 11 -- Solar Eclipse 2026 Connecticut: For a little more than an hour on August 12, Connecticut's afternoon Sun will slowly lose a small part of its bright face as the Moon passes across it. The state will not fall under the path of totality, but residents will still get a chance to watch a partial solar eclipse, with the greatest coverage reaching roughly 13% in parts of Connecticut. The eclipse will unfold shortly after 1 p.m. EDT and reach its peak around 1:54 p.m., giving skywatchers a brief daytime celestial event before the Sun returns to normal.
