India, April 1 --  With less than eight days left for polling in Assam, the Congress will release its manifesto for the northeastern state on Thursday during Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's visit, party leaders said. 

According to top Congress sources, the grand old party is all set to release the manifesto during a programme in the state. 

The source said that the manifesto will be released by the party during g Rahul Gandhi's visit to Bokajan, where he is coming to address a public meeting.
