India, July 22 -- Seychelles heads to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow aiming to achieve a landmark moment by winning its first-ever Commonwealth Games gold medal. The island nation is making its 10th appearance at the Games with an 18-athlete squad supported by a 32-member delegation. To reward success, the Seychellois government has introduced record medal bonuses, offering SCR 150,000 for gold, SCR 100,000 for silver, and SCR 75,000 for bronze. High jumper and sprinter Natasha Chetty will carry the national flag at the opening ceremony, while swimmer Adam Moncherry has been named the country's King's Baton Relay representative.
