India, Aug. 2 -- The Commonwealth Games 2026 are set to conclude with the closing ceremony in Glasgow on August 2. India is on course to finish fourth in the overall medal standings, with boxer Jaismine Lamboria receiving the honour of leading the contingent as flag-bearer at the closing ceremony.

The 24-year-old reigning world champion enjoyed a memorable campaign in Glasgow, winning gold in the women's 57kg boxing category after previously claiming bronze at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. The closing ceremony will also feature a special cultural handover segment showcasing India's heritage as the country prepares to take the spotlight for future Commonwealth Games editions.
