India, March 24 -- Emergency crews and residents worked through difficult terrain in southern Colombia after a military aircraft carrying more than 100 personnel crashed shortly after takeoff, killing dozens and leaving several others missing.Authorities confirmed that at least 66 people lost their lives when a military transport aircraft went down near the town of Puerto Leguizamo in Colombia's Amazon region. Rescue teams rushed survivors to nearby hospitals while continuing search operations for four missing personnel.
