CISF takes over security at MEA
India, May 31 -- Ninety personnel deployed to strengthen security at key diplomatic complex.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was formally inducted at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, the headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), in New Delhi on Thursday, with an authorised strength of 90 personnel taking over security responsibilities at the premises.
The CISF kote at the facility was inaugurated by Tarun Kumar, IPS, Joint Secretary (Personnel), Ministry of External Affairs, in the presence of G. Sivakumar, IPS, Deputy Inspector General, CGBS, CISF, Manoj Yadav, Director, Bureau of Security, Neeraj Kumar, Commandant (Operations), and senior officials from both the CISF and MEA.
