India, Aug. 21 -- Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey has officially done what seemed almost impossible. The epic has overtaken Deadpool & Wolverine to become the highest-grossing R-rated Hollywood film of all time, with its worldwide box-office collection reaching a staggering $1.35 billion.

The Matt Damon-led film has now earned around $1.352 billion globally, including approximately $516 million in North America and more than $835 million from international markets. The achievement comes nearly six weeks into its theatrical run, showing just how strongly the film has continued to perform after its opening weekend.
