But, consumers are being urged to keep themselves abreast of the situation as the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) has announced power shut down due to maintenance in selected areas from June 15. These outages are part of the city's plan for routine maintenance and infrastructure improvements to help ensure reliable electricity service for the city. The residents may check if their area is to be deprived of power through TNPDCL's official Planned Power Outage Details portal.
