India, Feb. 11 -- On Wednesday morning, at least 10 private schools in Chandigarh and Mohali received alarming bomb threat notifications, sending shockwaves through the school communities. Authorities say the threats came through calls and emails, prompting an immediate response from school administrators and police teams.

School leaders acted without delay, suspending classes for the day and sending students home as a precaution. Buses that had started their routes were turned back, and parents were asked to pick up their children from designated points to ensure their safety.
