India, April 19 -- More than a month after the Supreme Court Collegium recommended a set of judicial appointments for the Patna and Allahabad High Courts, the central government is yet to issue formal appointment notifications, with the proposals currently under consideration.
The Collegium, in its meeting held on 26 February, recommended the elevation of nine advocates as judges of the Patna High Court. The names cleared were Md. Nadim Seraj, Ranjan Kumar Jha, Kumar Manish, Sanjeev Kumar, Girijesh Kumar, Alok Kumar, Raj Kumar, Rana Viraj Singh, and Vikash Kumar.
