India, Aug. 31 -- Canon EOS R8 Mark II Latest Leaks: Canon's upcoming EOS R8 Mark II is generating fresh interest among camera buyers, but the biggest surprise may not be the camera's design or stabilisation system. Instead, it could be the sensor. Recent reports now point to a 24.2MP full-frame sensor, replacing earlier expectations that Canon would bring its newer 32.5MP chip to the compact full-frame model.
The change would mean the EOS R8 Mark II may not follow the usual path of adding more megapixels with every new generation. Instead, Canon could keep the resolution close to the current EOS R8 while focusing on other upgrades, particularly in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) and handling.
