India, July 18 -- US President Donald Trump has blamed Canada for allowing wildfire smoke to drift into the United States. He accused them of failing to manage their own forests and wildfires, which has led to poor air quality across several northern states, posing health problems and bringing economic losses. He claimed the associated costs should then be considered when imposing tariffs against Canadian exports, adding that the regularity of cross-border pollution had made it "unacceptable".
