India, Oct. 2 -- Canada Stock Market (TSX) Today (October 02): Canadian stocks started October 2 on a stronger note after four straight sessions of losses, with the S&P/TSX Composite moving back above 35,400 in morning trading. The rebound came as pressure in global bond markets eased and investors shifted attention toward corporate developments, precious metals and the latest moves in crude oil.

35 a.m. ET, the S&P/TSX Composite stood at 35,412.64, up 257.88 points or 0.73%, after opening at 35,293.61. The index had closed the previous session at 35,154.76, after losing 81.11 points on Thursday.
