India, Nov. 1 -- Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley is expected to play against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8 despite dealing with a hip injury.

The 31-year-old has officially been listed as questionable, but NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on November 1 that Ridley is expected to be available.

The update is encouraging for Tennessee, particularly with rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate ruled out because of a shoulder injury.

Ridley missed the Titans' previous game against the Cleveland Browns and has been working his way back during the week.

His availability could give quarterback Cam Ward another experienced option in the passing game.
