India, June 7 -- The BWF Indonesia Open 2026 has reached its final day, with some of the world's biggest badminton stars set to compete for prestigious titles and massive prize money at Jakarta's Istora Senayan on Sunday.

Home favourite Jonatan Christie delighted Indonesian fans by securing a place in the men's singles final after producing a remarkable comeback victory over Thailand's Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in the semifinal. After losing the opening game 16-21, the fifth seed bounced back strongly to claim the next two games 21-10, 21-12 and book his spot in the championship match.
