India, Aug. 26 -- Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and Manchester City forward Khadija "Bunny" Shaw have been named the PFA Players' Player of the Year winners for the 2025/26 season. Shaw claimed the women's award for the second time, while Fernandes earned the men's prize after a standout campaign.

Fernandes was particularly influential in the Premier League, registering a record 21 assists to become the competition's all-time assist leader, surpassing Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne. His win also makes him only the second Portuguese player to receive the men's PFA Player of the Year award, following former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
