India, Sept. 10 -- Iceland is one of the most well known supermarket chains in the UK. Now, it has announced plans to set up a high street store on the Falkland Islands. The move comes amid the backdrop of a hostile dispute with Argentina over the islands.

British Supermarket Chain Iceland's Announcement

Iceland, the British supermarket chain made an announcement about plans for a new store on the Falklands Islands this year. Speaking about the same, Iceland's executive chair Lord Richard Walker said that the retailer is "proud to be backing Britain".
