India, May 20 -- Three women whose bodies were recovered from the sea near Brighton Beach have now been identified as sisters from London, as Sussex Police continue investigating the tragic incident that shocked the UK.

The women were named as Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walter, 32, and Rebecca Walter, 31, all from the Uxbridge area. Emergency services recovered the bodies near Madeira Drive in Brighton after receiving a welfare concern call during the early hours of May 13.

Police said there is currently no evidence of criminal involvement, but detectives are continuing to examine CCTV footage, witness accounts, and the sisters' final movements before the incident.
