India, Sept. 11 -- The 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi is bringing together some of the world's most influential leaders, but India's welcome for international visitors is not limited to diplomacy and official meetings. Journalists covering the two-day summit will also receive a carefully prepared media hamper featuring products from different parts of the country.

The summit will take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 12 and 13, 2026. The Ministry of External Affairs expects around 1,200 to 1,300 journalists to cover the event, with a large number coming from BRICS member, partner and invited countries. An International Media Centre has also been set up at the Bharat Mandapam complex to support their coverage.
