India, Sept. 14 -- The oil market has entered another high-risk phase as traders face a combination of damaged export infrastructure, an attack on commercial shipping and growing uncertainty around the Middle East's biggest oil routes. Brent crude climbed above $107 a barrel on Monday, while US crude also remained above $100 as markets priced in the possibility of further supply disruptions.

The latest jump is less about stronger demand and more about whether producers and shipping networks can keep crude moving. Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline remains a major concern after drone attacks forced a shutdown, while tensions around the Strait of Hormuz have added another layer of risk of traders.
