India, June 20 -- Brazil scripted a historic record in their group-stage win over Haiti, becoming the highest-scoring nation in FIFA World Cup history. They leapfrogged European giants Germany to achieve the monumental feat. Following a 3-0 thrashing of Haiti, Brazil now have 241 goals in the quadrennial competition. The record, however, doesn't look safe, with Germany in a dominant form in the ongoing campaign. The four-time champions kicked off the tournament with a massive 7-1 victory over Curacao. They will next face the Ivory Coast in the second Group E battle on June 20.
