India, Sept. 14 -- Boston College linebacker Bodie Kahoun has been discharged from the hospital and returned to the team after suffering a serious-looking injury during Friday night's game against Rutgers.

Kahoun was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital after going down in the second quarter at Alumni Stadium. Boston College said he remained at the hospital overnight for precautionary observation before being released. The school confirmed that he is now back with the team.
