India, March 31 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its much-awaited Sankalp Patra 2026 for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections. The party described the manifesto as a roadmap to build a "Subakshit (Secure), Bikashit (Developed), and Joy Aai Assam" under the continued "double-engine" government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The 80-page document, along with an eight-page summary pamphlet, outlines 31 key Sankalps (resolutions). It combines the party's past achievements with new promises. The BJP positioned itself as the only party capable of ensuring "Asom-first" development while protecting the identity of indigenous people.
