India, June 30 -- The US Supreme Court delivered a decisive blow to Donald Trump's presidency on Tuesday, ruling that the Constitution guarantees automatic citizenship to virtually every child born on American soil and striking down the executive order he signed on his very first day back in office.

A 6-3 Rebuke From the Nation's Highest Court

In a sharp rebuke to Trump, the Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the Constitution guarantees automatic birthright citizenship to virtually all children born in the United States. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the court's 6-3 opinion, firmly rejecting the executive order Trump issued on the first day of his second term.
