Bihar Pensioner Goes To Withdraw Rs 1,100, Finds Rs 759 Crore In Bank Account; Here's What Actually Happened
India, July 13 -- An 82 year old man from Bihar's Muzaffarpur district was left stunned after his bank account showed a balance of nearly Rs 759 crore when he visited a Common Service Centre (CSC) to withdraw his monthly old-age pension. The incident took place on July 12, 2026, when Kameshwar Mishra, a resident of Thatiya Siho village in Muzaffarpur district, visited a CSC to withdraw his monthly Rs 1,100 old age pension. After withdrawing the amount, he requested a balance enquiry slip. To his shock, the receipt showed an available balance of Rs 7,59,69,51,951.16, nearly Rs 759 crore,leaving both him and the CSC operator astonished.
