India, Sept. 13 -- Ben Shelton and Alexander Zverev meet in the US Open 2026 final on Sunday, September 13, with two very different stories behind them. Shelton is playing his first Grand Slam final on home soil, while Zverev returns to the championship match with the experience of having already won a major this season.

For Shelton, the biggest weapon has been his serve.
