India, March 24 -- England opener Ben Duckett has made a surprising call to withdraw from IPL 2026 just days before the start of the season despite being picked by Delhi Capitals for Rs.2 crore in the December mini-auction, saying it is the right decision for his career at 31. However, as per BCCI rules, overseas players who pull out after the IPL auction without a valid reason could face a two-year ban and restrictions on future participation.
