India, June 11 -- Belfast is slowly returning to normal after two consecutive nights of violent unrest that disrupted transport services, damaged property and left multiple police officers injured. Authorities reopened key roads and restored bus and train operations on Thursday morning, but tensions remain high following anti-immigration protests that erupted after a stabbing incident in the city centre. Police have warned that a significant security presence will remain in place as investigations continue.
