India, Aug. 20 -- A Jammu court has directed the Jammu and Kashmir Police to conduct a preliminary inquiry into allegations concerning BCCI president Mithun Manhas' date of birth certificate. The case was brought by former J&K Police deputy SP and ex-J&K Cricket Association joint secretary Sudershan Mehta, who alleged discrepancies in Manhas' birth records.
