India, Nov. 7 -- Bank Holiday Today, November 7, 2026: Banks across India are generally scheduled to remain open on Saturday, November 7, on the occasion of Choti Diwali, as the date falls on the first Saturday of the month. Under the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) regular banking holiday schedule, banks remain open on the first and third Saturdays, unless a separate regional holiday has been notified however, bank branches across the country will remain closed on Sunday, November 8, as Diwali coincides with the regular weekly Sunday holiday.
