India, Aug. 23 -- Marvel fans have plenty of reasons to keep an eye on Shang Chi in Avengers: Doomsday. The Simu Liu character is returning to the MCU for the upcoming Marvel crossover. But is Shang Chi actually powerful enough to take on Doctor Doom? Maybe. And there is some interesting evidence to back that up.

A new detail from the film's merchandise has made his role even more interesting.

In July, Marvel and Hasbro revealed a new line of Avengers: Doomsday action figures featuring characters including Doctor Doom, Thor, Magneto, Gambit, Captain America, Cyclops, the Fantastic Four and Shang Chi.
