India, July 24 -- Asteryth Sloane, an award-winning British composer, has died at the age of 26. The death has shocked the classical music community in the UK and beyond, and tributes have been coming continuously. The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) confirmed the news on July 23, describing Asteryth Sloane as a gifted composer whose work explored themes of identity, spirituality and the natural world.
