India, Dec. 29 -- Rajar Dal President and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi has confirmed that all the opposition parties have agreed in principle to join hands for the United Opposition Front. Akhil Gogoi said that presently all the parties are working together in the run-up to the ensuing elections. The MLA has stated that he has had conversations with APCC President Gaurav Gogoi regarding uniting the opposition parties. "I can tell you, that all Opposition parties have willingly agreed to form an united front in the 2026 elections. But, the priority is to do it as soon as possible so that a united opposition can be picthed against the BJP," said Gogoi.
