India, Sept. 28 -- Priya Ghanghas secured a medal for India in the women's 60kg boxing event at the 2026 Asian Games after defeating Tajikistan's Mijgona Samadova 5-0 in the quarterfinal at Nishio Gymnasium on Monday. The 20-year-old recovered strongly after dropping the opening round on a 2-3 split decision, taking control in the next two rounds to seal a unanimous victory and book her place in the semifinals.
