India, Sept. 20 -- Asian Games 2026 Medal Tally LIVE Updates: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 are underway in Japan, with athletes from across Asia competing for gold, silver and bronze medals. The Games began on September 19 and will continue until October 4, with the medal standings changing as competitions reach their finals.

India opened its medal account on September 20 after Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa K Vinod won silver in the women's 10m air rifle team event. India have also assured themselves of another medal after Suchika Tariyal reached the women's Traditional 60kg MMA semi-final.
