India, Sept. 25 -- Gulveer Singh added another chapter to his Asian Games journey by winning silver in the men's 10,000m final on Friday, September 25. The 28-year-old from Atrauli, Uttar Pradesh, clocked 28:29.38 to finish behind Bahrain's Birhanu Balew, who secured the gold medal. Gulveer had previously won bronze in the same event at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, making him the first Indian athlete to win a 10,000m medal at multiple editions of the continental showpiece. His latest podium finish takes his Asian Games medal haul to two.
