India, Sept. 16 -- The 20th Asian Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan from September 19 to October 4, 2026, with athletes from all over Asia competing in 43 sports. Indian sports fans can follow the action on TV and online as the country's athletes look to build on their record medal haul in the last edition.

The official opening ceremony will take place on September 19, but some competitions will start before the ceremony. For example, Cricket kicks off earlier, with the women's competition beginning on September 17, and the men's tournament following later in the Games.

The Aichi-Nagoya Games, which will feature 43 sports and 469 medal events, will provide ample opportunities for Indian athletes to compete for medals.
