India, Sept. 28 -- Asian Games 2026 India Medal Schedule September 28: The day's medal action will begin with shooting, where Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rahi Sarnobat will compete in the women's 25m pistol event. The athletics programme will then take centre stage, with Indian contenders featuring in the women's discus throw, 400m hurdles, men's 400m hurdles, 3000m steeplechase, long jump, 1500m, javelin throw and women's 5000m finals.

India will also have medal opportunities in the women's 4x100m relay final, while boxers Lovlina Borgohain, Priya Ghanghas and Kapil Pokhariya will compete in their respective bouts. A win for the Indian boxers in their knockout contests would secure at least a bronze medal.
