India, Sept. 24 -- Sakshi Chaudhary will return to the ring for her second bout of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games when she faces Kazakhstan's Alua Balkibekova in the women's 51kg pre-quarterfinal. The bout is scheduled for 2:15 PM IST on Thursday at the Nishio Gymnasium in Nishio, Japan.

Sakshi advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Aira Villegas of the Philippines 5-0 in her opening bout on September 22. The Indian boxer won all three rounds on the judges' scorecards to move into the next stage of the women's 51kg competition.

Her next opponent is Alua Balkibekova, the reigning world champion in the 51kg category. The two boxers are set to meet in a high-profile round-of-16 contest in Nishio.
