India, Sept. 24 -- India enjoyed a memorable evening on the track at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya on Thursday, picking up two medals in quick succession.

The mixed 4x400m relay quartet produced a gritty run to secure a fine silver medal, coming right on the heels of long-distance runner Seema Kumari clinching bronze in the women's 10,000m final.

The double podium finish gave India its first two track and field medals at the ongoing Games.
