India, June 2 -- Recent college graduates have been struggling to secure a foothold in the workforce. However, a common culprit that is mostly blamed for the growing unemployment among the youth is the rise of generative artificial intelligence (AI).

Now, a new study released Monday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York suggests that the real obstacle to early-career employment is not AI, but rather the post-pandemic dominance of remote work.
