India, Aug. 21 -- Apple's first foldable iPhone appears to be moving closer to launch, with multiple reports now pointing to a launch in September 2026. The device is widely expected to carry the iPhone Ultra name, although Apple has not confirmed the branding.

Current leaks suggest a book-style design with a roughly 7.8-inch inner display and 5.5-inch outer screen, along with an ultra-thin body and a near-crease-free folding panel.

The foldable could sit above the iPhone 18 Pro Max in Apple's lineup and command a price of around $2,000 to $2,500. However, reports also warn that Apple could face limited initial supply, meaning the phone may be difficult to buy immediately after its unveiling.
