India, Sept. 9 -- Apple has officially launched the iPhone 18 Pro at its September 9 event. The new Pro model comes with Apple's next-generation A20 Pro chip, a 48MP variable-aperture main camera, upgraded cooling, improved battery performance and a refined aluminium design.

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for the 256GB storage variant in the US, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299 for 256 GB. Apple has also introduced higher storage configurations, including a new 2TB option for the Pro lineup.

Apple has confirmed that pre-orders begin on September 12, with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max becoming available from September 18. India is among the first-wave markets for the new Pro models.
