India, Sept. 10 -- Apple iPhone Prices Hike Update: The latest pricing strategy adopted by Apple for its iPhone in India has caught the customers off guard while the base price for the 256 GB iPhone 17 starts at Rs. 99,900 from a former Rs. 82,900, the hike works out to be Rs. 17,000, which means a 20.5% jump in price. But the larger picture here is that Apple seems to be positioning itself to move into India's ultra-premium phone segment with its latest products.
